Breast Cancer Diagnosis

Diagnosing breast cancer can be done in more ways than one. There are breast exams that one can perform on their own, and if you find something or feel a lump, this should be followed up with a mammogram to get a better diagnosis of what the lump may be. Mammograms do not show all breast cancers, but about 85% can be diagnosed from a mammogram. MRIs are great for a better diagnosis if you have already been confirmed to have breast cancer. The MRI will show a much more detailed picture of what is going on inside the tissue that is inside the breast and help decide what type and depth of breast cancer one has.
